| Running application as Windows service |
To run application as Windows Service, you should select the Register Service check box on the last installation wizard page, thus a new service named NetEagle will be registered in the system. To change the service settings, run the application using the All Programs/Network Eagle Monitor/NetEagle Service Options shortcut.
To start the service, use the Services administrative console in Control Panel Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services
The service is run under the Local System account by default. In order to avoid problems when running e-mail alerts with certain firewall or proxy settings, it is recommended to change the account in the appropriate way.
